Is there a way to automatically create a StatusPage incident when an OpsGenie incident (not alert) is created?
The integration docs only show a way to create StatusPage incidents based on OpsGenie alerts.
Hello,
At this time, there is not a way to automatically create a StatusPage incident from an incident in Opgenie. The outgoing integration from Opsgenie to StatusPage works with Opsgenie alerts, and not with incidents in Opsgenie directly.
However, when an incident is created in Opsgenie, any incident will also create a "Responder" alert to send notifications to the responder teams. You are able to use those responder alerts to trigger the outgoing StatusPage integration from Opsgenie in order create StatusPage incidents. So while you can't directly create incidents in StatusPage from incidents in Opsgenie, you can still create incidents in StatusPage from the Responder Alerts which are automatically created when an incident is created in Opsgenie.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Skyler
Makes sense, thanks Skyler. Seems like a good opportunity for integration since you have two different products which allow people to create and management incident objects and postmortems.

Is there a way to make a Statuspage incident a stakeholder to an incident? It seems like it would be an obvious thing to be able to send to both OpsGenie defined stakeholders and add a Statuspage incident to also alert subscribers.
