We have AWS cloudwatch sending a SNS notification to the following:

https://api.opsgenie.com/v1/json/cloudwatch

Is there a way when configuring the alarm in Cloudwatch to also include the priority?  We'd like some alarms to be P2, some to be P3, et al.  I saw solar winds has a mapping feature, does AWS feature similar?

Hi Mike,

Sorry for the delayed response, what you are attempting to do is possible with all our product integrations, it does require the user to make use of the "Advance integration settings" which is only available on Standard and Enterprise plans.  Follow the below guide which shows you how to create a "Create alert rule" to filter for alerts matching certain conditions.   Once you have created the filter you can customize the fields for alerts that are created when that filter is matched, one of the fields that can be set in the rule is the "priority" field.

Please note that for fastest support the best communication channel to use is the chat bubble that appears at the bottom right-hand corner of Opsgenie website: image.png
Our support agents aim to respond to customers within 3 minutes of the initial communication.
