Hi all,
Just wondering if there's a way to have all ops genie incidents send status updates to a single slack channel in our connected slack workspace?
E.g.
1. Create an incident
2. An incident notification is sent to a central incident slack channel
3. The responder team makes a status update.
4. A status update is sent to that same central incident slack channel
I can't see how to achieve 2 or 4.
We saw that you can create a _new_ slack channel for each incident, but that's not quite what we're after.
We also saw that you can manually setup stakeholders. That's kind of what we want, but we want the stakeholder to be a slack channel, or perhaps a web hook, rather than an individual person.
Similarly, we noticed that alerts have a host of integration options, including web hooks. Is it possible to add web hooks for incidents?
Hi Peter,
We do have a feature request open for #2 and #4 which you can add yourself as a watcher to:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-65
Currently, the only contact methods allowed for Stakeholders are:
An email notification
If a mobile app is installed, a push notification
SMS notification
As of now, webhooks are only available for alerts, though we have a request open for incident webhooks as well:
