Make fields mandatory for manually created incidents

How can we change the incident template so that manually created incidents have to include fields (like description, tags...)? Is there a way to change the "mandatory" attribute through the API?

This is Darryl. I am here to help. 😃

Understand that you would like to know if it's possible to define the mandatory fields to regulate the incident creators to create the Opsgenie Incidents in a consistent manner.

Unfortunately, this is not feasible in the current design.

We understand the importance this means to your operation, so I have just created a feature request on your behalf, OPSGENIE-747, please vote it and set yourself as a Watcher to receive the latest updates.

Please note that our Product team reviews all Feature Request (FR) together and they prioritize those with higher demand to be implemented first and any FR will take months until is ready since it needs to go through Design, Development, Testing, and rolling out to Production.
