I'm currently exploring ways to implement custom workflows and prompts in Opsgenie alerts and incidents. Specifically, I want to enforce a process similar to what we have in Jira, where users are prompted to perform certain actions before closing an alert or incident.
Prompt for Adding Notes:
Is there a way to prompt users to add notes before closing an alert or incident? I want to ensure that the resolution process includes a step where users cannot close an alert without providing essential notes.
Categorization Prompt:
Additionally, I am looking to implement a prompt for categorizing the issue during the resolution process. For example, users would be prompted to categorize the issue as "data discrepancy," "bug," or other relevant categories.
Deployment Requirement Prompt:
Is it possible to prompt users about the deployment requirements for a particular issue? For instance, having a prompt that asks whether the issue will require a deployment of a fix.
I appreciate any insights or guidance on achieving these custom workflows within Opsgenie. If there are specific features, APIs, or integrations that support these requirements, please point me in the right direction.

The ability to require certain fields and actions by using prompts in Opsgenie before closing/resolving alerts and incidents isn't available, beyond post mortem reports, that can be tied to incidents.
While postmortems can provide a template for adding some of the information regarding the type of incident and resolution process, they can't be customized the way that Jira issues can.
Opsgenie is primarily meant for notifying users of an issue, so it doesn't posses the robust customization option available in Jira for complete bug/incident management.
