How to get an Integration's apiKey via API?

Sean Batt September 27, 2022

When I create an integration it returns an apiKey and I can see the integration's apiKey in the web app.

However I can't see how to get an integration's apiKey via the API.

For obvious reasons, searching for info on this problem is probably impossible as searches are overwhelmed by apiKey as an input rather than an output.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be appreciated.

Hi Sean,

This is Mona from Atlassian support, and I’m here to help. I understand that you want to retrieve an integration API key via the API query.
Unfortunately, our Integration API does not return the integration’s API key.

This is intended behavior as per the design for security purposes. However, you can view or copy the Integration API from within the Opsgenie UI.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions.

Thanks,
Mona Singh

Thank you, Mona. I am glad to know I can stop looking for an API method that isn't there and instead investigate other solutions.
