Hello
I am checking how to create Incidences in opsginie coming from the alerts. I saw there is an option though team -> services -> rules where you can create a rule that will convert certain alerts under a service into an incidence.
My main challenge is I don't know how to associate a Service to an Alert. Does anyone know?
Hi @Pablo Barbero !
There isn't a way to have Service added to an alert. Are you asking how you get an alert to match an incident rule on a service to create an incident?
If so, it's just dependent on if the alert goes to the team where that service is configured with the incident rule.
So in this example...
I have these 2 incident rules configured under the "Sev1" service, which is under "TeamA". So if an alert is created with TeamA as a responder, and matches 1 of those incident rules then it will create an incident for that service.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have more questions.
