Hi Everyone,
We are doing a POC to use Opsgenie as our Oncall alerting system. In this POC, one of the usecase is to migrate Pagerduy teams, user and their schedules. So that everyone doesn't have to start from scratch. Is there a way to fo it?
Hello,
We have an internal tool that I've reached out to you in our Chat about that might help with this situation. It would involve transferring the configurations using a script and the Opsgenie Backup tool. I will follow up with you there, if you have any other questions!
Just a quick update here, the script is no longer available on our end as a result of it being unsupported. Pagerduty operations must be mirrored manually to Opsgenie, but please reach out to Support if you have any questions regarding API actions.
Thank you
Hello @Shivam Naik ,
We are planning a migration from Pagerduty to Opsgenie. Would you please provide us some insight into the configuration transfer for teams, users, schedules & escalations?

+1 to the migration scripts. Are you able to select certain teams for it?

Hello Everyone,
I want to clarify the status regarding this script since there have been several questions about it. This script was created by Solutions some time ago, and is no longer supported. If you would like to be sent the materials for it, I would recommend opening a Support ticket with us and requesting that it be sent. However, because this is not supported, we cannot provide additional assistance beyond providing materials for the process. The same disclaimer was provided to this post's author in Chat Support.
If you would like us to send you components for the script, please let us know, but be aware regarding the unsupported status.
Thank you

Hi @Shivam Naik ,
We are in the process of migrating around 150+ users from PagerDuty to OpsGenie, with around 20+ schedules with multiple escalation policies etc.. can we know a rough estimate how much time it might take for this to complete, if we use the automations script that you mentioned.

I've managed to setup a script for this purpose.
https://github.com/jensonpaul/pagerduty-export-opsgenie
This is a simple python script to export data from PagerDuty that is compatible to be used in OpsGenie Configuration Backup.
