I can see doco about this at https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/invite-users-and-manage-their-roles/
However, the screenshots don't match what I see when logging into Opsgenie. I see no 'setting' icon and the UI looks completely different with a navbar on the top instead of along the left-hand side.
I am using an account that is part of an Atlassian workspace. I thought perhaps I could control roles through https://admin.atlassian.com/ and the 'Products' page. However, when I use "Add Groups" to add a group of users to the Opsgenie product, the only product roles I can select is 'User' and 'User Access Admin'. I don't see 'Owner' or 'Admin'.
If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!
Hey Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
In case you don't have access to Settings >> Users, then there's a chance that you don't have the needed role "Admin" or "Owner" to add or edit users.
I checked your Vivcourt instance and can confirm that you have a "User" role.
That would be the reason why you cannot add new users or change roles.
What you can do in this case is to ask David (current owner of your instance) to upgrade your role following the steps from here https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/add-invite-update-and-delete-users/.
I hope this helps :)
Best Regards,
Egor

Hi @Egor I am from the ITOPS team at vivcourt and have OrgAdmin rights. I experience the same issue Daniel pointed out in the post above.
I can see existing roles and assign users to them but I cannot assign product admin to myself or anyone as the role doesn't appear in the drop-down.

Hey Sagar,
It appears that you're checking the roles from your Atlassian admin's side.
Could you go to your Opsgenie account https://vivcourt.app.opsgenie.com and then go to Settings >> Users >> Modify roles from there?
Thanks,
Egor

Thanks Egor, we're in business now! David was able to get in and grant me admin in the product. We can close this off.

That's amazing Daniel, thanks for the confirmation, I'm super happy that it works for you :)
