I have a vanilla Jira Service Management free plan. We do not use Opsgenie, have no need for it and don't want it. How do I get rid of it, or at least stop the auto-generated emails from it. I can't continue using Jira Service Management for recording incidents if I can't turn off these unwanted email alerts.
I am aware of the fact that I can go to https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/settings/user/notification and adjust Notification rules for me, but I want to do so not just for me, but for all users and all future users.
When I go to this link, I can see the Jira Service Management instance as connected, but no way to disconnect it:
https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/settings/atlassian-apps/jira-service-management
When I go to https://admin.atlassian.com/ and Groups, I see nothing related to Opsgenie, and for each group, the products the group is granted access to does not include Opsgenie.
Under subscriptions, I have no Opsgenie subscription.
When I go to https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/teams/list - there are no teams listed (since we don't use it!)
When I go to https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/settings/api-key-management there are no API keys listed.
https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/settings/users/roles says "Custom roles is not available in your plan."
https://<ourcompany>.app.opsgenie.com/settings/users/ lists all our users - I haven't tried deleting all users here. This might do the trick, but I suspect that if we add new users to Jira Service Management, they'll appear here.
What can I do to stop these rather infuriating unwanted emails? Seems impossible! I'd rather not the crude solution of adding a block rule on our mail server!
Hi @Daniel Mare ,
If you open a ticket with Opsgenie support, they can disable the Opsgenie entirely: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/
You cannot remove it from your list of products most likely because it's baked into your JSM subscription, and not a standalone Opsgenie.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have now opened support ticket number CA-XXXXXX
Hopefully they can help.

Sounds good @Daniel Mare ,
So you're aware, I removed the linked ticket in your previous response.
