Create single incident and associate similar alerts to it.

Deleted user January 6, 2020

Hello,

In our environment, we received alerts into opsgenie and create incidents manually. Using alert deduplication it's possible to have single alerts with multiple counts.

Is it possible to to have an auto incident create and all the alerts associated to be added automatically?

I am new to Opsgenie and please guide.

Thanks,

Nishant

Hi @[deleted]-

Great question. You can use Incident rules to accomplish this. This is configured under a team's Services. In the incident rule, you can configure a filter that will allow an incident to be created, and aggregate similar alerts if the specified conditions match.

Thank you and I'll try to implement it.

dear @Mark Campbell-Vincent , I have quite similar case where I need to create automatically an incident in opsgenie when the Alert count is for instance > #3.

I could not find the way to filter on COUNT in incident rules.

How can I do this ?

regards
