Hello,
We have Azure sending alerts to Opsgenie and everything works as intended. I was wondering if it's possible to configure Opsgenie to change the alert state in Azure when we aknowledge/close an alert.
Great question!
So out of the box, we do not have this functionality for the azure Integration. The Functionality of this integration is "When an alert is created in Azure, an alert is created in Opsgenie automatically through the integration."
However, I could point in the right direction for this one to possibly getting this to work.
If you have OEC configured in your environment you could trigger a script either manually or automatically to access the Azure API to change the state on Azure Alerts.
Here are some useful links for this one:
https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/oec-actions
https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/opsgenie-actions-execution
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/monitor/alertsmanagement/alerts/changestate
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Connor
