I've read most of the documentation and watched the videos regarding this feature and never saw this mentioned.
I understand we create a channel for a particular account/region/role.
SSM Automation allows nonetheless to launch automation scripts cross account from a single account. Is it possible to configure the Channel in one such "central" accounts and trigger actions on other accounts identified on the alert ?

For your use case, unfortunately, I need to tell you that the Action Channels do not support cross-account SSM automation. For every AWS account, you will need to create a dedicated Action channel in Opsgnie. Our Opsgenie production AWS account will assume the role configured in each action channel as/when they are needed to send SSM commands to the corresponding AWS accounts.
