Hello All

If all I have to do is respond to customer tickets from the alerts I get in opsgenie. What will be the reason to create Incidents in opsgenie?

Thanks

Abe

Hi @AbrahamA ,

Incidents would be considered higher priority alerts that have serious business impacts to your customers, services, both, etc.

There are additional features included with incidents such as the ability to notify stakeholders, create a WAR room to collaborate and resolve the incident, etc.

If you are simply looking to notify your Opsgenie users of any issues, then alerts are probably only needed though.

We do not have enterprise plan, probably not plan to.  Then the Incident in OpsGenie offers no additional benefits?
