When getting an Alert with the API, there are two Boolean fields:

  • seen
  • isSeen

Does anybody know the difference between the two?

Hi @Tom Russell !

Looks like they both always have the same value (i.e. both true or both false). So I think they might be the same field just renamed. I have entered a ticket with our development team to understand if these 2 fields are the same.

Thanks,

Samir

Thanks, Samir. I suspect that 'seen' might be deprecated, because 'isSeen' is what's in the example alert output in the API docs.

Hi @Tom Russell !

Confirmed - they are the same field. They moved to using isSeen instead of seen, but will not be deprecating or getting rid of the seen field for backwards compatibility reasons.
