What is the Follow the Sun Model

The follow the sun model is a service and support method that is designed to address and satisfy customer needs without regard to geographic location or current time. Companies large and small are able to provide 24-hour service without putting the burden on one site and requiring employees to work late shifts or overtime.

These screenshots below are the example configuration used for an On-Call Schedule to implement a follow the sun model in Opsgenie.

This is very helpful, thanks for posting.  How do you manage overrides?  Let's say someone on the EUR rotation wants to take over for a colleague for a week, is there a way to do this in one click or do we have to replicate the rotation's schedule into the override?  I was hoping since you choose a rotation when you add an override, that it was inherit the rotation's schedule, but it doesn't seem like it does.
