Creating a Scheduled Report in Opsgenie: Explanation of Subscription Fields

When setting up a new scheduled report in Opsgenie, it’s essential to understand each field to customize your report effectively. Here is a detailed explanation of each field when adding a new subscription.  Subscription Fields.png

AA_STATUS

Description: Filters alerts based on their status.

Example: “All” to include alerts regardless of their status.

AA_TAGS

Description: Filters alerts by tags.

Example: “All” to include alerts with any tags.

AA_TEAM 

Description: Filters alerts by team.

Example: “All” to include alerts from all teams.

AA_MESSAGE_NOT_MATCHES

Description: Excludes alerts whose messages match the specified pattern.

Example: Use patterns to exclude certain alerts based on their message content.

AA_DETAILS_KEY

Description: Filters alerts based on specific keys in alert details.

Example: “All” to include all alerts regardless of details keys.

CALENDAR_TIME_ZONE

Description: Sets the time zone for the report calendar.

Example: “UTC” to use Coordinated Universal Time.

AA_TEAM_NOT_CONTAINS

Description: Excludes alerts from teams not matching the specified pattern.

Example: “All” to include all teams.

AA_CALENDAR

Description: Defines the date range for the report.

END_TIME 

Description: Specifies the end time for the alerts to be included.

Example: Set a specific end time.

AA_ALERT_SOURCE_TO_INCLUDE

Description: Filters alerts by their source.

Example: “All” to include alerts from all sources.

START_TIME

Description: Specifies the start time for the alerts to be included.

Example: Use a specific start time.

AA_DETAILS_VALUE 

Description: Filters alerts based on specific values in alert details.

Example: “All” to include all alerts regardless of detail values.

AA_MESSAGE_MATCHES

Description: Includes alerts whose messages match the specified pattern.

Example: Use patterns to include certain alerts based on their message content.

AA_ALERT_SOURCE_TO_EXCLUDE

Description: Excludes alerts from specified sources.

Example: “None” to exclude no sources.

AA_TAGS_NOT_CONTAINS

Description: Excludes alerts containing specific tags.

Example: “All” to include alerts regardless of their tags.

 

AA_INTEGRATION_ID

Description: Filters alerts by integration ID.

Example: “All” to include alerts from all integrations.

 

BUSINESS_HOUR

Description: Defines the business hours for the report.

Example: “9, 17” to set business hours from 9 AM to 5 PM.

 

AA_PRIORITY

Description: Filters alerts by their priority.

Example: “All” to include alerts of all priorities or specify certain levels like P1, P2, etc.

 

BUSINESS_DAY

Description: Defines the business days for the report.

Example: “0, 5” to set business days from Monday (0) to Friday (5).


By configuring these fields, you can tailor the scheduled report to meet your specific needs, ensuring you receive the most relevant information at the appropriate times. This flexibility helps teams stay informed and manage alerts efficiently.
