Be More Productive with Atlassian Tools while Working from Home

Whether you are working from home due to the deadly coronavirus pandemic or you are a freelancer in a team, you have to counter multiple challenges during remote work. Though working from home can be highly productive in some cases, things tend to go awry when you do not have proper office space, on-the-spot supervision, and a strict schedule.

However, several digital products are available in the market that can help you stay professional, track your work, conquer distractions, and prevent the pitfalls. Atlassian Corporation is one such development company that has developed plenty of applications to help employees work efficiently outside their typical office setting. In our today’s piece, we will tell you about the Atlassian products and their remarkable usages in tracking the remote work. Let’s dive in.

1.    Jira

Jira can be used to manage and track all types of remote tasks. Currently, over 75,000 customers in 122 countries are utilizing Jira’s services to monitor hundreds of thousands organizational projects. The most notable organizations that use Jira are:

  • Hibernate
  • Fedora Commons
  • Apache Software Foundation

Through Jira, teams can plan, track, assign and report the tasks without any hassle. The latest version of the Jira has four packages, including:

  1. Jira Software includes the base software and agile project management features.
  2. Jira Service Desk can be used by the customers to ask for help or suggestions.
  3. Jira Core supervises the marketing campaigns, HR onboarding, and approvals.
  4. Jira Ops handles the disruptions and major incidents.

2.    Trello

Trello is another Atlassian product used to organize notes, shared files, tasks, projects, or any other thing that could help your teamwork together. Through Trello, users can create task boards with columns and then move the tasks between these columns. Generally, the following statuses are included in the tasks:

  1. To Do
  2. In Progress
  3. Done

Trello has a history of helping a variety of businesses including software project management, accounting, web design, real estate management, and law office case management. There are plenty of reputable organizations that use Trello in their tech stack, including Adobe, Stack Overflow, Medium, Udemy, and MIT.

3.    Confluence

With Confluence, teams can collaborate and share pivotal knowledge efficiently. They can assigns tasks to specific users, capture project requirements, and manage several calendars at once. Apart from providing readymade solutions with blueprints and templates, Confluence also offers a platform where you can share the announcements and news across your company with @mentions and comments. Like Jira, Confluence is also developed in Java.

Integration of Confluence with Jira

Confluence and Jira can also be used together to complement each other. Confluence can collect your team’s knowledge, plans, and thoughts, whereas Jira can simultaneously track the complicated issues. This integration will not only save your time, but it will also get your job done impeccably.

4.    Stride

Stride is exceptionally conducive for team communication. Stride can be used to send real-time notifications, get instant updates about the modifications, and share work progress. The primary features of Stride include:

  • Chat rooms
  • Searchable chat history

The integrated collaboration tools turn the discussions into actions, whereas the proficient space enhances the focus so that the work could be done faster.
