In JIRA, there is one section "due date" which indicates and inform the requested about the deadline of our work. However, we can increment it and inform requester that we need more time to work on it or we could not attend particular ticket due to other critical task. So we need to increment the due date of respective ticket.
Is there any way by which the due date of the ticket will get auto increment to inform requester that it was not attended or need more time to work on it.
Like Trello, an e-mail notification will be sent to assignee of the ticket
when
1.the task is close to the due date by defined amount of time and still is not resolved
2.assignee increase the due date by manually with proper reason.
3.assignee was on leave and set it to auto-increment.
Like Trello, we can define
1. the amount of time that will trigger the reminder.
2. the interval of time before the due date for triggering the notification.
3. the people to whom the alert should be sent.
4. Assignee can increase the due date if task is pending.
