Administrative access vs daily access?

I'm an administrator for our Jira instance (Cloud). I'm also a daily user for non-administrative tasks. The issue that I have, is that on a daily basis, I'm active on a subset of our company's projects, and there are many projects that I never touch (other than perhaps some admin work). Because my account is an administrative account, all of my searches show issues across all projects, not just the ones that I'm active in.

How do other people manage this?

Hi @Benjamin Peikes

It's just a matter of doing better filtering when doing your searches.

If you mainly use the search box on the top right you can select the projects you want to focus on.

If you use the search with JQL it's just a matter of adding the projects you are working on at the beginning, something like:

project in (PR1, PR2) AND ...

You can also create a personal dashboard with a few gadgets showing the issues assigned to you, the issues you are watching and the issues in some specific statuses from the projects you are working on.

These are just a few ideas, I hope it helps

I use "project in" in nearly every single JQL I write since I'm an administrator with access to all projects also.
