Users unable to have issues assigned to them

I am trying to administer our JSD Cloud implementation.  There are users who have access to our Jira Software instance and I have added the role Service Desk Team to a subset of those users.  I am unable to go into the system and assign any issues to anyone but myself, the Admin, the error is attached.

 

I am not sure what else needs to be done for each of these people to be able to manage tickets in JSD.

"The assignee field of UCS-16 cannot be updates. User <username> cannot be assigned issues."

Hey Kyle,

You'll need to make sure the users you are trying to assign the tickets to also have a Jira Service Desk license. If you go to their profile in the user management section, you should see that they have "Jira Service Desk" checked on, as shown below

Please check the below two permissions of the respective Project's permission scheme

Assign Issues: Ability to assign issues to other people.

Assignable User: Users with this permission may be assigned to issues.
