I am a new to this group, however i have been using JSM for some time as a vendor and client as well.
I like the fact how many things can be automated in Jira generally and in JSM particularly which makes our lives way easier sometimes.

welcome aboard, and agree there are many useful automations and add-ons, I now run service desk, customer billing, and project management and reporting/BI all with JIRA/add-ons, left all my legacy tools behind, so much easier now.
