Hi everyone. Fairly new to Jira, but wanted to know if its possible to amend and customize the admin rights? So for example so that I can grant someone the power to add new users but limit other access? I can see the three settings are Basic, Trusted, and Administrator. I wonder if it's possible to amend or add to this? Thanks!
Hi @David Stone - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
For the example you listed, yes, there is a way. But outside of that there is not a lot of customization that can happen.
If you grant a user Site Admin permissions (add to site-admin group) then they can add people and manage users, but are not regular Jira Administrators. That's a different permission.
