Insight Discovery Configuration

We have enabled JSM Cloud Premium 30 days trial to explore Asset Management tool. We want to discover our assets via Insight Discovery.

Do we need a separate server to use the Discovery tool? IF yes, should that be any Windows Server version (above Windows server 2016)?

Should ports be allowed from this new server to Windows/Linux servers and network devices?

Please shed some light. Thanks.

Hi Balaji,

In our company we are using Discovery on a Windows Server 2016.
