Incoming email question

If one of the Portal users logs requests for different organizations, this works smooth when the user logs in to the portal (user can select the organization to share with OR select private).
How does JIRA SD handle this if the same person sends an email instead of logging the request? Will it be logged under one of the organizations he is part of OR will it be logged without an organization?

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

Hello @Martijn Claassen

It will be logged without organization if the issue is sent as an email.

But there is a fix for this.

You need Automation for Jira

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215460/automation-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Trigger -> Issue created

Condition -> User condition -> Reporter is in organization

New action -> edit issue -> organization
