In JIRA Service Desk is there a way to quickly filter comments entered into JIRA vs Emails that have been added as comments?
I know both are comments but i'm wondering if there is a way to distinguish them easily or filter one or the other out.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to identify if a comment was added through Jira UI or E-mail. We understand this would be a useful functionality, so we created the following feature request to get it implemented:
