Using macros with Confluence?

ImLearningThis January 21, 2020

Hi!

I'm new to Confluence, I'm learning it.

I wonder if someone here can help me with this...

I have 3 files in MSExcel, that I need to "migrate" to Confluence.

I've already searched in google, but the only "similar" thing that I've found is attaching the file directly, but this doesn't help, I need to "use" the content (the table).

Then, with the table (tables) in confluence, I need to run a macro that reads content from table1 and table2 and then add that content to table3.

Does anyone know how can I do this?

(Sorry if my english seems broken, not native)

Thanks in advance!!

Hi @ImLearningThis

You can attach your Excel files to Confluence pages and then output those tables with Office Excel macro. After that, you can use Table Transformer macro to merge or lookup your tables. Table Transformer macro is a part of the Table Filter and Charts app.
