Using Include Page Macro to include a page from another Space.

Thomas Martyn January 2, 2020

Hey Guys,

My company has a number of spaces for different departments, with one department having detailed content for many processes that others use.

Rather than just having our users go to their other Space (it's very complex and details many things we do not use), or duplicating that content, I would like to use the Include Page macro to include the content while ensuring it is always updated.

The problem I'm running into is that Include Page will not look outside it's current Space.

I have tried using Include HTML  but it includes the sidebar inside the new page :/

Any suggestions?

Is it so? But Include Page macro will allow pages from all spaces if you have access.

syntax: <Spacekey>:<Page name>

if you face issue still, Please ask your Confluence Admin to do reindexing.

I suppose it'd help if I read the instructions infront of me >.<

Does this require you be an admin on both spaces?

No..

EDIT access to the current space/page

READ Access for the other Space/page

are enough..
