Good morning all!

Nadja Louis-Jacques March 15, 2022

I am new to the community, a few quick bullet points would be great to understand best ways to utilize the system. Does the system have instructional  Videos?

WELCOME @Nadja Louis-Jacques !

The suggestions already given are great! I will add a few more that may be helpful:

  1. Atlassian YouTube Channel is my go to source when I want small bites of information. https://youtu.be/HaVmvjIMUFY
  2. I found Customer Love month had great articles and videos. Customer Love Month was a Confluence event that presented activities throughout February.  (see screenshot below). You can access this list by selecting this link -> Join Confluence Customer Love Month 💙 - Atlassian Community Even though it is over, you can still find good information. And, it was very FUN too!image.png
  3. I liked Collaboratory for the webinars. Collaboratory was another event where many different things occurred that provided interesting articles and videos on Confluence capabilities. The link is to lightening talks that were 20 minute videos of different aspects of using Confluence. -> Collaboratory: A Confluence Series (atlassian.com)

Please reach out to me if you need any help. I have used Confluence on my current project and it has become invaluable to me in helping organize myself and help my teammates.

OH, and you are among friends here!  You may be interested in the Tag: "friday-fun" (atlassian.com) . Friday Fun really drew me into the community more. You can participate as much or as little as you want! Personally, I love the interaction with the other community members, learning about their interests, the parts of the world they come from.  Always a great way to end the work week for me!

Cheers!  and, Happy Confluencing!

Hi Nadja,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community. Adding to the above, please feel free to check some of the courses at the Atlassian University. Some of the courses are free. Below is the link for the same.

Atlassian University: https://university.atlassian.com/student/collection/850385-learning-paths

You could sign up for a free site which could provide a hands on environment to play around making your learning an overall experience.

Confluence is a feature-rich product, so I'm not sure a few dot points will cut it.

However, I suggest you start here https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/what-is-confluence-cloud/

And YouTube has plenty of videos, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqg8o-ataIQ
