How to Confluence Cloud: Pt 2 - Make beautiful pages

Hey Community!

This is our second post in our How-To series for Confluence Cloud. Our first covered the basics of Confluence and how to set up your site and spaces. It’s full of helpful context for the next step: how to create beautiful pages in the editor. Watch the entire video series here!

We’ve put together a video to guide you through the process of how to make memorable pages your team will look forward to reading.

In this video, we’ll cover versatile tools like templates. With our pre-made blueprints, you can jump past laying the groundwork for your page and get started immediately. For instance, use the Meeting Notes template to capture important information like your meeting date, who participated, the agenda, and decisions that were made during your time together.

If you have your own way of doing things and want to start a new page, you can do that too in the editor.
We’ll teach you how to set headers and format your text to make informative, well-organized Confluence pages. You’re in full control of when to publish and who has permission to view/edit. We’ll show you how to set page permissions so it stays that way!

Maybe most exciting of all, we’ll talk about macros, which in the world of Confluence Cloud is basically a magic word. You can use this action to add a ton of functions from due dates and tagging teams or individuals to images and emojis. Remember the “/” slash command and the world is your oyster!

We’ll be releasing our third How-To Confluence Cloud next week. Please leave us any questions or thoughts in the comments!
