To show this you can use the Issue dimension Parent level together with Issues created measure and filter by Status. This will show how many sub-tasks are in the selected status for the parent. See issue EXP-8 in the screenshot below, which is Done, but there are sub-tasks In Progress
Note also EXP-16, that is In Progress itself, so also is displayed as 1.
