Solution Partner & Marketplace Vendor Atlassian Community Event Guidelines

Looking to connect with our customers on a local level? Interested in finding out what pain points, best practices, or insights they may have regarding Atlassian tools? Head over to ace.atlassian.com to join your local Atlassian Community Event (ACE) group. It's a great opportunity to network and discuss emerging product issues/best practices.

We want to maintain a positive experience for all who take part in these special communities, including our Solution Partners and Marketplace vendors. 

In order to do that, we collaborated with multiple Partners, Community Leaders, and Atlassian teams to help create the following guidelines to drive an engaging and welcoming experience for all ACE attendees. 

NOTE: In order to create consistency and remove all confusion, Partners executing individual events must label them as Partner events and not as "Atlassian Events". Atlassian Community Events are sponsored and branded by Atlassian. 

 

Community Event Guidelines: 

Partners can sponsor events. Partners are allowed to sponsor food and drink, prizes or provide a venue. However, sponsorship does not provide exclusivity for the event. Multiple partners are allowed to contribute to an event. Partners should defer to Leaders to determine how to contribute to the community based on their specific needs. This includes presenting content that will be relevant to the local group. Permanent sponsorships are discouraged, unless the Partner is local and has a consistent presence within the local community. 

 

No Sales pitches. We ask Partners to represent their expertise through product content and practices at each event. Sales pitches are not permitted. Check out this link to understand what's accepted for both presentation and marketing practices at events.

 

Only 3 representatives for each Partner per event. Limited to 3 representatives for each Partner per event. In the spirit of Community and the main objective of educating customers, we ask all conversations to be educational in nature. No sales or recruiting activity. If one of your team members is presenting, they are not considered an attendee.

 

If attending an event, Community etiquette is required. Partners add value to the events by sharing their expertise and knowledge around product usage and practices. We encourage all Partners to implement our Atlassian values within events to create an educational and welcoming environment for all attendees.
