New PDF exports and reports arrive to Jira Cloud

For more than a month now, we at Midori have been working together with our most eager users, who indicated interest in Jira Cloud PDF export options very early. Their ideas, insights and real-life use cases helped us better prepare for the launch of Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud. Thanks to this amazing batch of current customers, future customers and Midori Solution Partners, we concluded a successful beta testing period.

We are proud to announce that Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud is now generally available on the Atlassian Marketplace and it brought more than simply the features of the server version.

When building this new app, we turned to the feature requests, set up a Slack Community to connect with customers and listened to their most immediate needs. Their comments helped us understand what additional export and report option are needed in Better PDF Exporter and we believe we shipped those that were considered the most important ones.

Bringing new PDF reports to Jira Cloud

Better PDF Exporter Cloud comes with new types of Jira reports and export options, giving you more versatile ways to represent any Jira data on a PDF document. (If your team uses Jira Server or Jira Data Center, we have good news: these new export options are also coming to Server and Data Center soon!)

You can read more details about the new Jira PDF export options in the Midori blog, but here is a quick list to give you some ideas:

  • Export Jira issues with its sub-tasks
  • Create Time in Status reports
  • Create Time by Assignee reports
  • Create graphical reports from the changes of any Jira custom field
  • Visualize issue links (connections) with customizable Traceability reports

A Time in Status report created with Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud

These new export options mean that Better PDF Exporter gets even easier to use as it brings more ready-made PDF exporting and reporting options to Jira Cloud that require no customization of template files.

If you ever needed to export to PDF from Jira Cloud, here is the time to give Better PDF Exporter Cloud a try!
