Meaning of and how to resolve error message

lpalm January 9, 2024

Hello I'm receiving the following error message for one of my rules and I'm having trouble tracking down what the root cause is. Could I get some guidance on how to resolve this and move forward? See also an image of the rule in question. Capture.PNG

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This rule does not seem to be being triggered by an action on an issue.  So the block has no idea what issue to look at when reading for the assignee.

The block above assignee is running a filter, so there should be a set of issues to work with, but your rule does not nest the action blocks within the filter results, it just says "run at 10 am" -> "Run a search" -> "Look at assignee on the issue that triggered the rule (which you do not have)" -> "send email"

Thank you very much! I completely misunderstood what the Issues Fileds Condition component was. I have removed it and simply added the assignees needed to reference in the Lookup Issues component. Thanks again.
