I checked the Jira Cloud for CRM (Official)
on the Marketplace. Looks fine but I could not figure out how does this connector really works.
What I am mainly interested in, is weather the CRM data from D365 are anyhow downloaded or stored in JIRA (we use Jira cloud Service desk), or they are just read on demand once needed to be shown on the ticket.
Thanks for any advice on this.

As you already thought the data is loaded dynamically when needed.
However, in order to get a bit more context I got in touch with the app developers and I have been confirmed that:
