Is the JIRA <> Zendesk integration tied to a user record?

Hi everyone, 

I am trying to find out whether the API integration for Jira <> Zendesk will break if I lose admin access on Jira.

I will only be given admin access to install the integration and then it will be revoked. Do I need continued access for it to work?
