Authenticate Xray Cloud?

Edited

Hello!

I'm working on a project that makes use of the Jira Xray plugin. We are attempting to integrate the Robot framework with Jira xray. I am aware that, in accordance with https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Authentication+-+REST+v2, Client Id/Secret authentication should be used for the API integration.

It is not possible to access the URL (https://xray.cloud.xpand-it.com/api/v1/authenticate) given in the document. A DNS connection attempt using a VPN also failed. Trying to connect from public IP as mentioned in the document also didn't work.

While we try to hit the /api/v2/authenticate authentication as per above Xray reference link, we are getting 404 error(

404Not Found
283 ms). Is there any other way to get authentication for Jira Xray integration with Robot framework?
Thank you for your help !

Hi @KARTHIK VELAN M and welcome to the community,

Is the user your are trying to create an authentication token an active Jira User and was the API key created upfront in the global administration console of Jira?

Could you furthermore share your API call attempt?

Best
Stefan
