🍻 🍂 Apptoberfest Demo: High Velocity ITSM with Bulk Approvals on Automated Service Desks 🍂 🍻

One of Jira Service Management's strengths is the ability to integrate with other systems. 

We implemented many 🤖 Automated Service Desks where the requests are fulfilled automatically (e.g. granting access to applications, account creations, etc...) upon approvals. 
However, the bottleneck is transferred to the approvers after that. 

Bulk Approvals was conceptualised to solve the pain of customers who have to review and approve hundreds of requests at a go. 🚀

This will enable Jira to support higher volume of tickets for self-service automated Service Desks.

The app 

• improves productivity with lesser context switching

• reduces blind approvals by displaying necessary fields in the same screen
• uses less clicks to get the work done

There are also some dependencies on the Forge platform before it is technically feasible.
At the same time, we are also monitoring the interest for the Cloud edition.

You brought up a good suggestion 💡 for the bulk approval emails 👍

We can send a scheduled reminder email to the approvers so that they will not be flooded with email notifications. We will add this to our roadmap.

Currently, it can pick the fields which can be added to the customer portal (Refer to List of supported custom fields for request types in Jira Service Management customer portals)

Currently Insight fields are not fully compatible since it only show the key/value of the Insight object. We will add it to the roadmap to work on it.

If there are any other field types that you need, please let us know.
