About the Role:

The Account Executive (AE) is an experienced team player with strong communication and negotiating skills, who effectively and strategically builds relationships with clients and our partners. This role involves identifying opportunities by understanding and championing the expectations of our clients as well as closing the deal. The AE will be tasked with selling E7 services and our partners’ software products. It is important that the AE possess solution selling, client service, and relationship-first mindsets. Skills should include strong/creative problem solving, product/service knowledge, multitasking, influential communication, and collaboration. 

Accountable for:

  • Achieving Quarterly and Annual Quotas
  • Completing Quarterly Goals
  • Building relationships with clients and E7’s partner reps
  • Utilizing E7’s sales processes and tools
  • Keeping accurate, up-to-date account records

 Responsible for:

  • Qualifying referrals and inbound opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients by understanding their goals
  • Developing sales strategies with clients, E7’s sales leadership, and various departments within E7
  • Identifying and aligning client opportunities with E7’s services and our partners’ software
  • Creating clarity for the client as to how E7 can solve their challenges
  • Explaining technical concepts to customers in a way that is easy to understand
  • Negotiating contracts and ensuring they are executed
  • Closing deals and ensuring the client and E7 are ready to successfully initiate the engagement
  • Assisting E7 Finance by helping to ensure client invoices are paid on time
  • Nurturing relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met
  • Meeting sales targets and ensuring that sales goals are met
  • Collaborating with other departments within E7 such as Marketing, Client Services, and Finance
  • Completion of various training programs

Skill Sets:

  • Technical knowledge: Good understanding of E7 services and partners’ software products
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners. Be able to listen actively, ask questions, and provide clear and concise information.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate effectively with clients and be able to find ways to meet client needs while still achieving E7’s goals.
  • Problem-solving: Identify problems and be able to think creatively to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Time management: Effectively manage time and be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.
  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer service, build relationships with clients, and provide support throughout the sales process.

Experience:

  • 5+ Years Selling Software/SaaS products (e.g. Atlassian, Salesforce, Services Now) and associated services
  • Driving and closing sales to achieve quota
  • Establishing and maintaining a consistently strong sales pipeline
  • Building a book of business through relationships and partnerships

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Sandler sales methodology training (preferred)
