I want custom link types enabled only for selected projects.

This article,

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-linking/

shows me how to create custom link types. But they apply across the entire instance of Jira that we have.

My scenario is that I want to create an ArchiMate modeling capability and use Jira as the repository with Lucidspark. To do that, I need to be able to create link types that relate to the relationships among ArchiMate relationships.  But I don't want normal Jira users (meaning Jira users who are working with issues and work items) from seeing those.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Hi @David Allen,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Currently it is not possible to have link types that are project specific without using an app like Issue Matrix or Linksy. There is a suggestion, JRACLOUD-16325, that you can vote and follow. Based on the latest update this is not something that is being prioritized in the short-term roadmap.
