I believe you need to use the Fisheye product to integrate with subversion in the ondemand area.

Note that the only reason we could do this was because Mahmoud is using the old JIRA Hosted (*.onjira.com) and not OnDemand. We cannot install additional plugins for OnDemand.

ah ok, now everything fits together again for me since i already thought there are exceptions of the plugin policy. Thank's for pointing that out :-)

Because the new version (OnDemand) was launched less than a week ago. You can contact sales@atlassian.com if you'd like to cancel your current evaluation and start an OnDemand one, but be aware that there are additional restrictions on this platform.

The Subversion plugin is a so called Version 1 plugin, which cannot be dynamically loaded. only version 2 plugins can be loaded dynamically loaded. UPM requires the ability to dynamically load and unload plugins without restart. V1 plugins are installed at WEB-INF/lib, V2 plugins outside the web application directory structure at installed-plugins. so from the installation instructions you can also see if a plugin can be installed by UPM

Hmm, i'm afraid it will not be so easy to get that plugin in onDemand. Only some plugins are available at the moment which can be easily enabled/disabled. Please read this
