hi, I want to put all related jira issues together in a confluence web page.
and I have set jira project permissions as the project and issues are only visible to some people for isolation.
However, I want all issue names could be seen in confluence web page rather than showing 'jira issue doesn't exist or you don't have permission to view it'. while in jira system, the permission model perserved(which I mean people with no permission could see nothing).
what should I do.
Hi @Dai Zhang
thanks for your question. This is simply not possible. Confluence just displays the information right out of Jira. If you do not have permission to view an issue in Jira, it won't be displayed on a Confluence page.
I create and edit manual links to Jira.
Enter the link to the PBI in the Confluence page.
Undo the automatic link to Jira
Edit the link so that it reflects the issue name.
The link won't get automatically updated, but the reason I am having this issue is because the PBIs are archived, so they won't change anyway.

Hi @Kai Becker ,
This issue is happening for us too.. eventhough users are having permission to the issues in jira, they are not able to see it from the confluence side. Please let me know why is it so.

Anitha

Hi @Anitha
thanks for your question. As your question is different than @Dai Zhang I would recommend open up a new thread.
