jira 6.3.15 performance testing

Hello

we are using JIRA 6.3.15 in our Linux production environment. We would like to do some performance test to check the response time of various JIRA operations.

Can anyone suggest the right tool and tool usage documentation if there is anything available over internet?

Thanks !

There is an instance heath check plugin , which is used for recent versions of JIRA , looks like it doesnt include 6.3 though and starts for 6.4: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-healthcheck-plugin/server/overview

Else. you can use jmeter to do performance testing of an JIRA server, depending on your server version: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira063/performance-testing-scripts-683542610.html , but again it looks like this link is not actively maintained  - probably you can try this on your dev instance, by cloning prod - trying this in prod directly would be risky and hence not recommended.
