×I didn’t find anything related to that in the docs. Does someone know if there is any limit to this?
Hey @Becky as far as I've read in other forum community posts there is no limit on the number of swimlanes (I've never hit a limit either), I couldn't find it stated in any official documentation either though...
Are you having an issue adding more swimlanes, or are you just curious to clarify this?
I seem to recall 50 from some other post but cannot locate it. Best thing to do is ask your Jira admin to test it in a non-prod instance. But also ask carefully why you might want to have more than 9 or 10. The UI display will be a complete pain to use I suspect

Just a quick note: be cautious with the number of swimlanes, especially if you're defining them using JQL queries. If the conditions overlap, issues will only appear in one swimlane, even if they meet the criteria for others.

@Carlos Garcia Navarro my question was related to overlap. One of our users was testing swimlanes feature using JQL queries and overlap them.
It took a couple of minutes until I realize what was wrong.
Appreciate your help on this.
