how can i access java function or variable from .vm file ?

i have a java function and a variable inside it. i have to access from .vm file.

is this possible ?

You call them by what looks like a variable call - see http://velocity.apache.org/engine/releases/velocity-1.5/user-guide.html

It's a lot to take in, but jump to the header "References" and the sub-header "Methods" to see how to call java functions

The Answers software is really crummy at handling urls - the url given is correct, but it's adding a non-breaking space to the end of it - try removing that and it'll work. I've tried editing it off, but answers adds it back in.
