emails are no longer creating tickets

Emails coming in to our helpdesk inbox are no longer creating JIRA tickets.

Check the configuration of the mail handlers and check the log file for errors (JIRA home /log/atlassian-jira.log)

If you can't see anything obvious, head to "logging and profiling" and enable the incoming mail logging stuff, then go back to the logs directory for another look.
