How to remove issue action from the "From:" email field that appears after upgrade 4.2 -> 4.4?
You can customize the mail content as mentoned here : http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Customising+Email+Content
Yes you can customize content. and i'm already change "subject:" field.
BUT whare you can customize FROM field??? it combined from "email from" in general configuration and jira email in mail server configuration and in 4.4 it puts issueAction between them :(
if you know can you please point to template file name where FROM field are generated
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
That is hard coded in the code. You can't configure it anywhere.

if it's true - this is bad decision from atlassian

It is a simple change for Atlassian. Maybe noone asked for configuring it. Try creating a new feature request ;)

unfortunately i can't mark as an answer a real one - "That is hard coded in the code. You can't configure it anywhere." because it's in comment.

this behavior doesn't depend on e-mail client ( same in tunderbird, outlook, etc ) since JIRA 4.4.3 ( we have installed ) already send it as
Date: Tue, 1 Nov 2011 13:38:53 +0000 (UTC) From: "JIRA on behalf of Xxxx Yyyyyyy (Updated)" <jira@zzzzzz.com> To: xyz@zzzzz.com
here config screenshots:

It's impossible to create such a From: header with a standard JIRA.
The only thing you can configure is (from help)
Specifies the From: header format in notification emails. Available variables are ${fullname}, ${email} and ${email.hostname}
If this (Updated) isn't something fix and really corresponds to the JIRA event i'm pretty sure there is a modification in your system that somehow works different now with JIRA 4.4
I have to give up here :(

Unfortunately this is not modifications we made :( and before last upgrade this field "Email from" in general configuration wasnt ever touched.
and i'm pretty sure this is some atlassian modification in templates/whatever, because this this change happens simultaneously with removing of $eventTypeName: from the subject ( this i already returned back by editing email templates )
and thats why i asking if somebody have the same issue, knows how to change this because no visible way to configure this behavior
