XRAY Reports - Fix Versions Not Populating Correctly

I am trying to create a new XRAY Report, but in my Jira project, the list of Fix Versions I can select are from other Jira projects and I can't see the Fix Versions for the Project I'm in.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue. X-ray Report --> Filter is giving first 15 Fix Version available from all the projects. When I search for project specific Fix version, returns no matches. 

Jira 9.4.8 DC version + Xray Test Management for Jira 6.3.0-j9

as per support team's suggestion, upgraded to 6.3.1-j9 which resolved the 'fix-version' issue mentioned above.

Interesting. Mine is on 7.8.2-j9, and we're seeing the issue.

And further question: Which version and licence type are you running? (is that XRAY enterprise?)

Hi @Stefan Salzl 

We have facing similar issue when you are trying to pull "unreleased" fix version xray report in Basic mode unreleased not appear. more details sharing screenshot both view.

Version Name- 2024_SVA_R3

Basic and Advance. Advance mode its working properly.

Hi @RAHUL INGLE 

are you an administrator in this system or at least in the project?

Do you have permissions to see/create fixVersions and/or select/set in issues?

I could imagine that this is (strange) behaviour regarding permissions (how is a versions-select field handled vs. how is a jql handled --> had a simliar behaviour with a macro-view in Confluence).

I'm having this same issue. Has any solution been found? I'm an admin of my instance as well.

Could you please check the version of your installed xray plugin instance as well as your jira version?

according to another reply in this thread this was a bug but it should be already fixed with version 6.3.1.

that´s interesting. I couldn´t reproduce the behaviour in 7.1.1-j9 maybe the bug re-occurs in newer version. 

 

I would suggest 2 things:

1. if possible try to do a project-re-index

2. if error still occurs (or re-index not possible) reach out to vendor´s support
