Wrong dashboard shown as landing page

Hi everyone,

we are having some issues with the default dashboard, as it is not shown as a landing page for a user, even though every configuration step was followed as advised by the instructions, as far as I can tell.

The default dashboard is configured and available to all users in the organisation. Still, a user who has multiple dashboards does not see the default dashboard when clicking the top left logo to reach the defined landing page. The user set his landing page preferences to "Dashboards" and selected the "Default Dashbaord" as favourite.

Same applies to me, when I create a new private dashboard. It ignores the favourite and shows the private one instead.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue?

I've just jumped into a site in order to check your request. My observations:

• In general, every user can select his/her own homepage via 'Personal Settings' (%yourSite%.atlassian.net/jira/settings/personal/general) - and choose between 'Your work', 'Projects directory' and 'Dashboards'.
• Changing this option to 'Dashboards' results in being forwarded to %yourSite%.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards/last-visited - which leads me to the assumption that this is not a static reference anymore but leads you dynamically to the dashboard that you've last accessed.

While this is not a real fix for your problem, it is hopefully an understandable explanation that you can give to your colleagues.

thanks for pointing out that detail with the weblink, at least now I understand where the issue lies.

I will lease this question open in hopes that someone knows a consistent workaround.
