If I hover over some of the boxes on my ticket it'll pop up the little pencil to edit it, but the Status and Resolution are not things I can directly edit from the ticket.
I've been asked to change the resolution that's currently selected into another resolution that exists. What's the best way to do this?
You need to create a transition in the workflow that provides a screen with the resolution field. A properly configured Jira will NEVER put the resolution on any screen other than the one for a transition where it should be set.
